Where should I place the camera device?

We suggest you to place the camera device facing the area you wish to protect. Usually, that would be an entry way, a main hallway or a poorely protected entry. If you have a pet, or a baby that you want to monitor, you could also place the camera in a way they will be monitored best.

Do I need Wi-Fi to use Jerry?

No, Jerry also works on 3G and 4G networks. Although, it’s recommended to connect to Wi-Fi.

Can I use Jerry on my tablet?

Yes, you can. Moreover, you can use Jerry on your tablet in two ways,  as the viewing and the monitoring device.

Can I use Jerry on my Apple Watch?

Yes, you can use Jerry in monitoring mode on your Apple Watch. You will be able to receive notifications about the events.

Can I see a livestream of my secured area?

Unfortunately, we haven’t implemented this yet. But, all bad news comes with good news. We are working on it!

How do I give family/friends access to my camera?

Simply, use the same login at all devices.

Can I save detected events?

Yes, all events are directly being stored at your iCloud-storage.

Can I delete videos from my phone?

Yes, simply swipe left at any event you want to delete. You can also delete all events at once: settings: remove all events.

Can I retrieve deleted videos?

Unfortunately, once they have been deleted, they are gone for good.

Is Jerry secure?

Yes, we do not obtain any unforeseen personal information about you. You sign in with your Apple ID for secured encrypted access between your viewer device and your camera devices.
